We had a lot of fun, and before we went to the aquarium, we ate lunch and I had the most amazing lemonade! I'm not a huge fan of lemonade usually, but it had mango flavor in it and I love anything mango. Looks like sunshine in a cup!
One of the best parts of the day was when we went to our local Salvation Army (my favorite thrift store around here). I found some really great stuff today! I surprisingly wasn't looking for clothes, like I am 95% of the time. I was actually looking for candle holders or tea sets. I want candle holders because one of my best friends always makes me jealous with her cute candleholders, so I was inspired to find some of my own. I made out pretty well. I found a wooden candle holder for .75,three flower candle holders for .39 each, a bunch of candles for .25 each, a bell that would go perfectly in my mother's china hutch for .49, and my most exciting find, a teapot! It was only $2.99.
I've always wanted to have a tea party for some reason, so I'm going to start collecting tea cups, pots, saucers, spoons, anything. Lol.
Outfit of the day:
Dress: Wal*Mart, old, $12,
Vest: Old Navy, $30
