Ladies, ladies, ladies. Did you know, you're most likely wearing the wrong size bra? I had a pretty normal growth spurt, chest wise, every year in high school when I would go back to school shopping, I would go up a cup size, until I landed on a C cup. I was pretty sure I wasn't one of those people who was wearing the wrong size, I mean, how hard is it to find something that fits on your chest? However, a few months ago, I had never been into Victoria's Secret before, then a friend and I were at the mall and she wanted to go in. I got sweet talked into getting a fitting while we were in the store. I went back, and it turns out I was supposed to be wearing a DD! How does one confuse a C for a DD? I will never know. But I recently bought two of the right size from Victoria Secret and it makes all the difference. Get fitted!
I got one similar to this color
Here are a few guidelines for you:
If your cups runneth over, it’s time to go up a cup size.
If your cups dimple, it’s time to go down a cup size.
If you have the dreaded back fat, you probably think your bra is too tight, but you’re wrong— your bra is too big. Wearing the bra lower on your back with a smaller band size will completely eliminate the back fat.
If your strap falls down, that means your bra band is riding up and you probably need to go down a band size.
If you can see breast tissue being pushed out over the top of the cups, you need a larger cup size. All breast tissue should be contained with the cup of the bra.
If the bra band rides up in the back, you need a smaller band size.
If the center of your bra does not lie flat against your breast bone, then you need to buy a larger cup.
