Thrifty Thursday

There are a lot of fabulous thrift stores with good deals, and I can usually find at least one thing to make me happy. I love only spending a few bucks to get something that I'll get a lot of use out of. Here are a few of my favorites of this week:

I found this flower coral necklace at Val's Consignment Shop and got it for $4. I looooove this colors in this necklace, but the chains get wrapped up, so I've often thought of taking off the top chain and making a bracelet.

This lovely giraffe printed dress is my most recent find. I love the print, and it was only $2.50. It might be ugly to some, but I think with the right accessories, it could be great. It will be a great summer dress. (Look for it in a future Outfit of the Day post!) I got it at my local Salvation Army.

This I also found at Salvation Army, mine always has a good stock of clothes and accessories. I found this leather Kim Rogers purse last summer. I got it for $2.50, and it was perfectly worn when I got it. I love a purse with lots of pockets and this is my go to purse that will literally go with everything. All of my planners, my wallet, keys, makeup, and phone will fit, with much more room to spare.

This men's vest I got at St. Andrew's Thrift Store (across the street from Salvation Army!). I believe I paid $3 for it, and though it doesn't button on me because it is a tad small, but it looks great with a pair of dark skinnies and a white tee. Definitely glad I snatched it up.

Okay, I have a confession: these granny booties are not from a thrift store, I bought them at Rue 21... I know, it's Thrifty Thursday, but I couldn't resist because I got such a good deal on them! $5!! I love wearing them with a leopard print dress that I have on rainy days.

Happy thrifting!
