Crafty Inspiration

For my first post, I am going to show my brilliance on collaging. I know, I know, Collaging? geez, Calli! But it can be fun! My first rule: Don't throw out those pesky magazines that come in the mail that you glance at once and then toss. I've got a stack of about ten or twelve that I need to go through right now. Keep those pesky magazines. You know why? You subscribed for a reason! You end up going through those magazines and saying "that's a cute way to decorate that reading nook." or "I love that dress, even though it's out of my price range."

What I do with those magazines: Cut out the things that inspire you the most and put them in a three ring binder. Your Inspiration Notebook, or whatever cheesy name you want to call yours. Mine has five sections.
  1. Fashion
  2. Hair
  3. Makeup
  4. Party ideas
  5. Fitness

It's kind of fun to cut and paste things like you once did in elementary school. Of course there are whole pages of things with outfit ideas that I don't want to paste on paper, so I just tear out the whole page and punch in holes, clip it in, and viola! You have your own inspiration book!
